To Rachel’s chagrin, I was able to pull more sod (grass) from the front yard. The summer is very hot on the front yard between the sidewalk and the street so I figured: the less grass to water the better. It’s really hard to remove sod. But, we have a cute “right of way” garden…

The Stephens family had the chance to gather together in May to honor the life of my grandpa, Ray Stephens. While the occasion was sad, it was still wonderful to be together.

Rachel had never experienced the pleasure of a Reams family vacation… What better way to ease into it than a full week trapped on a 12×20 foot boat? Muahahaha… But seriously, we had a great time.
